Last year, I had the chance to get my hands on a Leica M2. It had belonged to my partner's grandfather, a passionate photographer. I had never really considered switching from digital to film, but holding this 70-year-old camera in my hands and knowing the story behind it made me fall in love with it before even shooting my first roll. In April this year, I took it with me on a family vacation to the Dolomites. Shooting film is a completely different approach to photography compared to shooting digital, which I was used to. I quickly fell in love with the process—loading the film, rewinding it, taking my time before pressing the shutter, and then scanning the photos.
