My name is Bryan Garris and I am based in the north Georgia mountains. Kodak T-Max 100 film is my preferred film for landscape images, capturing luminous shadows and amazing detail that I enjoy working with when printing my photographs on silver-gelatin paper.
For me, photography is a way to commune with nature, and share it with others. I feel as though I notice details and remember more vividly after making a photograph, and it has never stopped being a magical feeling when pulling the film out of the fixer and seeing what I was able to capture.

4x5 film enables me to make large silver-gelatin prints in my darkroom. I want to make prints that transport people to the time and place that I experienced, and have them see the world through my eyes - or perhaps recall their own vivid memories of the past.
