Mike Boden was first introduced to photography at a young age during summer camp. This continued as an undergraduate in Telecommunications and Film at San Diego State University where he graduated in 1991.
Throughout the years, Mike’s passion has grown and matured to the point where he ventured into large-format photography, which he continues to use to this day.
Despite digital photography as the predominant medium for many photographers, he prefers the look and process of shooting with film.

Mike’s focus on B&W landscape photography allows him to become immersed in nature and continues to be an inspiration.
A quest for the unfamiliar and his adventurous spirit takes him down bumpy dirt roads, off the beaten path, or deep into the mountains on solo backpacking trips.
The light and landscape is ever changing, which excites Mike’s curiosity of his surroundings.
