"Shooting on film has become an essential part of both my creative process and personal balance. A few years ago, while working in an office environment and spending 8–10 hours a day in front of screens, I found film photography to be a kind of mental reset. Looking through an optical viewfinder and engaging with the slower, more tactile process of shooting film felt like a relief—a quiet, meditative break from the digital world. Later, as I became a professional in the film and printing industry, I truly came to appreciate the richness and depth that film delivers. There's a timeless quality in the way film renders light, texture, and colour that continues to inspire me. I know I’ll keep shooting film for the rest of my life."

“I really enjoy shooting on film because it’s a deliberate process that feels a lot like reminiscing. You’re not just snapping away; you’re taking your time, thinking about each shot, and really soaking in the moment. It’s that intentionality that makes the experience so rewarding and personal.”

“People often ask why I still shoot film in a digital world. For me, it’s all about the feeling, like driving a manual car or playing a vinyl record. There’s something deeply physical and intentional about it. Shooting fully manual forces me to really see the light and shadows before I even lift the camera to my eye.”
